We're seeking a capable Application Development Specialist for our rapidly growing Brisbane team, helping clients deliver capital projects. You'll work within Professional Services alongside Solution Architects, Technical Leaders and Information Management Specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to the applications Cavalry supports.
  • Estimate the effort to customise and configure selected software products and components.
  • Detail-design the solution and contribute to the project Functional Design Specification.
  • Configure and test applications to meet requirements, quality, time and budget.
  • Support the project Technical Lead in coordinating the technical team.
  • Keep technical knowledge current with new product features each release, and share it through coaching and knowledge transfer.

Experience & qualifications

  • Post-graduate diploma in business, engineering or software engineering, with 3+ years deploying industry software solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry platforms such as Hexagon SPF/SDx, Autodesk Construction Cloud and Aveva Engineering.
  • Understanding of the capital projects process in the resources industry, and integration of design software with content-management systems.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication, with a conceptual understanding of cloud environments.

Power Platform Developer Application DevelopmentBrisbane, AustraliaPosted 1 Jan 2024

We're seeking experienced Power Platform designers and developers. You'll act as the expert in solution design and development for the assigned system, building apps, dynamic reports and workflows using PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint and Dataverse, working with internal and external stakeholders. Note: we're only accepting candidates based in Brisbane, Australia.

Applied knowledge & skills

  • Minimum 5 years' Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CRM development.
  • Hands-on Power Apps / Power Platform solutions, with SaaS/PaaS experience.
  • Core skills across C#, SQL, .NET, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft Dataverse and Power Automate.
  • Experience with Power Platform CoE and governance components, and familiarity with Agile / sprint planning.

Education & experience

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, MIS or related field.
  • 5–8 years' related experience designing and developing Canvas and model-driven Power Apps using Dataverse, SharePoint and other databases.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced relational database knowledge and experience with out-of-the-box connectors.
