Seeking a capable Application Development Specialist (ADS) to join a rapidly growing team in Brisbane. Cavalry is focused on helping clients to more effectively deliver their capital projects and we are seeking experienced development resources who have skills in the relevant industry content management platforms i.e. Hexagon’s SPF/ SDX, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc. As all industries move forward with a digital transformation specific to their engineering and process, it’s important to get this right in industries with major capital asset projects. These implementations are becoming more complex because of higher integration of their processes and data deliverables or because of their global aspects. The ADS will work, as part of Professional Services, with Solution Architects, Technical Leaders Information Management Specialists to provide technical expertise in software development and customisation projects. More specifically:
• Provide technical support to the installed applications that Cavalry supports.
• Leverage experience to estimate services effort to customise and configure selected software products and components.
• Provide technical expertise to detailed design the solution and thus contribute in writing project Functional Design Specification.
• Act as a technical resource on projects for configuring and testing applications that address customer requirements and meet quality, time and budget.
• Support project Technical Lead in coordinating technically the technical team.
• Describe technically to Product Owners functionality in project solution’s design that can be best implemented.
• Keep technical knowledge up-to-date by learning and mastering the new products features / solution functions made available on each and every release.
• Share technical experience through on-the-job coaching and knowledge transfer.
• Post graduate diploma in business, engineering or software engineering, with minimum 3-year experience in industry software application/solution deployment.
• Prior experience in an industry service role.
• Demonstrated team orientation and project execution skills.
• Strong personal organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to apply these skills cooperatively in a team of professionals.
• Familiarity and conceptual understanding of Cloud environment.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• (Development/ Configuration) Knowledge of industry platforms (Hexagon SPF/ SDx, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc)
• Expertise in deploying design and content management software (Hexagon SDx, SPF, SPO, ACC, Aveva Engineering) in the capital asset Information Management domain.
• Knowledge of Capital Projects process in resources industry.
• Integration of design software with the content management system (Hexagon SDx, ACC, etc).

We are seeking experienced Power Platform (Power Automate, Flows, PowerBI, etc) Designer/ Developers.
The successful candidate will acts as an expert in terms of the solution design, development approaches, assigned system (as it relates to the Power Platform) by conducting technical and analytical work in developing, designing, and/or analyzing technical solutions for clients.
The Microsoft Power Platform Solution Developer will be responsible for developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform components. This Developer will be working with internal and external stakeholders to create and support business applications, dynamic reports, and workflows using PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Dataverse. The depth and scope of this role provides a great opportunity for advancement throughout the organization for the person that demonstrates the right attitude and aptitude for learning.
• Passion for moving organizations forward with the Power Platform and excitement for the impact Power Platform can have on customer experiences.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CRM development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Platform technical solutions.
• Work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.
• Core Skills: C#, SQL, .Net, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft DataVerse (CDS), Power Automate.
• Experience with and a good understanding of the Power Platform CoE and governance components
• Familiarity with Agile project management and sprint planning.
• Bachelor’s Degree or its International Equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Related Field.
• Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model.
• 5 – 8 Years of related work experience.
• Experience in designing complex common data models.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relational database concepts.
• Experience in using OOTB connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Comfortability working under pressure or strict deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and formulate recommendations
• Excellent communication skills
